Refractory Metal Powders from Tungsten and Molybdenum
OSRAM manufactures tungsten and molybdenum powders with various dopings as a precursor material for the powder-metallurgical production of refractory metal products. Our powders can be directly pressed and sintered to rods for example, but may also be used for 3D-rapid-prototyping, utilizing laser sinter-technology. In combination with a certain polymer binder, powders from OSRAM can be utilized for powder-injection-molding (PIM). The varieties of possibilities together with our high quality standards enable our powders to become the material of choice for your tungsten- or molybdenum-based application.

- MoP (Highly Pure Molybdenum)
- MoD (Pure Molybdenum)
- MoA/MoQ (Different levels of doping with Potassium)
- MoY (Yttria-doped Molybdenum)
